So "Alice In Wonderland" is sort of... "incomplete" shall we say...
painting of set: incomplete
painting of floor: incomplete
set construction: incomplete
lighting concept and hanging: ?
hanging of set pieces: incomplete (ps - our space has no fly system)
hanging of blacks: incomplete
blocking: incomplete
choreography: complete, but who could tell
lines: I know my lines....
opening night: Fri 8/5
The director: can take a hike
The SM: the phrase "unqualified" comes to mind
The producer: talks shit about everyone/wait...... we have a producer??
The set painter: is one of those people you would like to cut with a tripple-pronged farm tool
Wecome home!
I'm reading this awesome book (who am I talking to?) called WEIRD LIKE US and it's all about the concept of bohemia and revolution and how it has manifested its self in culture, the arts and fashion. Let me tell you, that beast is right up my alley. Way to go Ann Powers - your stuff in Rolling Stone... eh not so much, but this book rocks. I recomend you pick a copy up at your local 'brary. I also recomend checking out cd's and burning hundreds of copies for friends and loved ones. I can also recomend threatening people with farm tools as a way to relieve high levels unpresidented stress.
I guess "unqualified" isn't a phrase...
